Little Sister

I have a little sister now, though it's hard to believe
She is very much like me; too much I admit
I know it may be hard to conceive
That we are not technically related; not one bit

But she is like me; that much is true
She acts like I do in her own special way
She picks at me like any little sister would do
She is my little sister, what more can I say?

Though many would doubt this,
I hold this to be fact
She is my little sister whom I miss
No matter if that does sound out of whack

She is my sister because we both in Christ have believed
And we are together with God in His family
With that I can be content and relieved
That I have a little sister who is just like me
