- Friday Five -

For those who don't know, there is a website called the 'Friday Five' that sends out five questions each friday for its members to answer about themselves. I just discovered this place the other day, so I don't have many FFs yet, but as we go along I am sure it will grow. These will be posted in my journal as well.

1. What was your biggest accomplishment this year?
Heh, probably getting past all my anxietys and depression and such that threatened to pull me down and remembering my previous passion for life that had turned to a passion for darkness alone. Yeah, I would definitely say that was my biggest accomplishment... Finding out who I really am when you remove all the sad, angsty layers away and have just Angela.

2. What was your biggest disappointment?
Hmm...probably being foolish enough to date someone that I knew wasn't right for me, to ruin a really good friendship because of it, and all the other foolish depression-related things I pulled this year. Yeah...this year has definitely been more stupidity than anything else...

3. What do you hope the new year brings?
A brighter future for me...which I can already see a glimpse of. I saw it every night I got up onto that stage to dance... There's still joy in this world and there's still real, true happiness awaiting me.

4. Will you be making any New Year's resolutions? If yes, what will they be?
Eh, I've never been good at New Year's resolutions. I always wind up breaking them within the first week because I really just don't hold an once of commitment to them. However, if I were to make one, it would be that I would continue writing in my personal journal on a daily basis and that I would continue my nightly devotion & prayer journal.

5. What are your plans for New Year's Eve?
There's going to be a church party for the youth so I'll probably be going to that. I love being able to hang out with the youth. Heh, especially if I can see Joel/Hunter... ::smirks::

1. Do you like to shop? Why or why not?
Eh, I've never really been a big shopping person. I just find it kinda tedious and somewhat depressing since I usually have so little money and so many things that would be great to buy, heh. However, I do like to just browse through stores without any intentions at all of purchasing something. Yeah, I much more prefer "window shopping" to just plain shopping.

2. What was the last thing you purchased?
Hmm...I think it was a shirt. Yeah, I bought this really awesome medieval-style red shirt that looks really jazz. It's made out of silk and velvet so it feels sooo good against my skin.

3. Do you prefer shopping online or at an actual store? Why?
Oh, an actual store, definitely! I mean, that way you can see what your buying and look it over and all. Plus you don't have to worry about not getting the item or whether or not your money got to the other person/company or whatever. Yeah, I don't really care much for online shopping...

4. Did you get an allowance as a child? How much was it?
Hah, my allowance as a child was I got to choose which Beanie Baby I wanted from my Mom's stack of Beanies she bought. If I did all my chores and everything throughout the week then I got to go to the "Beanie Pile" and pick one.

5. What was the last thing you regret purchasing?
Hmm...there are several things I regret buying recently. Mostly just alot of stuff that I don't really *need* but I just bought 'cause I had money. Heh, and now that I have no money I'm regretting my frivolous use of the money.
