General Description (hair, eyes, build, complexion, etc. ):
Moriah inherited the trademark dark, red hair and deep, emerald eyes of her mother that has always set her so clearly apart from most of those in her clan. Her build is small and agile, though certainly well-muscled from hours spent in training for combat with the other women of her clan lest they should ever be attacked. One might say she is "Amazonian" in appearance as she has spent her entire life living within the forests of Dathomir and thriving off all that the earth had to offer them. A black tribal tatoo can be seen wrapped about her left upper arm.

Clothing and Jewelry:
Much like her sister clan members, Moriah's clothing consists of soft material cut in such a way so as to allow complete freedom of movement on the hunt. However, unlike her sisters who often don the soothing colors of the earth, Moriah prefers the dark blacks and grays. Though this choice of uniform often draws a suspicious eye, it allows her to blend in easily with the shadows of the forest in which they reside and therefore give her an advantage which they cannot claim. At times, when on the hunt, Moriah will also paint her pale cheeks with the dark mud of the earth that she communes with, again using it to camoflage herself from her prey.

No manner of jewlery adorns Moriah's figure and this is the way she plans to keep it. Jewlery is inconsequential to her and she sees little need in owning it though many of her sisters enjoy flaunting their own.

Weapons:
When out on the hunt, Moriah is oftentimes armed with her crossbow and a simple knife that she uses for skinning her prey. Her precision with the crossbow is excellent, oftentimes able to hit the heart of the animal directly. Other than this instrument, her mother has trained her in the arts of using herbs...both life-saving and lethal. She can recognize most herbs immediately and know of their potential. A small pouch is often worn at her side, containing an assortment of the herbs she has managed to collect along the way.

Quirks:
Coming from a matriarchal society, Moriah tends to be a bit too self-confident and one might even say arrogant at times.

Where was s/he born?: Dathomir

Clan Info:
There was nine clans of witches on Dathomir after the fall of the empire. One was known as the Nightsisters - a group of witches that used and harnessed the Dark Side powers of the Force rather than embracing the idealogy of the Light Side as their sister witches did. They were led by the witch Gethzerion for many a year but when she was destroyed the clan of the Nightsisters fell, leaving only the remaining eight.

The Dark Forest Clan was one of those remaining eight and is led by the witch Marsalliah.

Character's Background:
Hassirah Diavalo was always looked down upon by the Dark Forest Clan and rumors and vicious whispers seemed to constantly follow her. The witches of her clan accused her of being in touch with the "dark arts" though there was no proof of this to offer. She was shunned and turned aside and when, at the age of 18, she gave birth to a child, it was thought to be her punishment for dabbling in darkness.

Though Moriah has lived her entire life amidst the Dark Forest Clan, she has oftentimes, like her mother, been somewhat of an outcast by choice. She cared little for the "sugary sweet", giggling young girls that she was brought up alongside and would much rather be out on the hunt or reading a book from her mother's extensive collection than sharing in the current rumors and gossip. While most of the girls were off playing some silly games out in the forest, Moriah was busy studying alongside of her mother in the secrecy of their home.

The rumors that had once circulated of her mother's interest in the "dark arts" was indeed true and she trained her daughter to use this area rather than embracing the Light Side from which her fellow sisters drew their powers from. Her mother embraced the teachings of "the great Gethzerion" and made it her goal to return the clan to the glorious days of the Nightsisters. There was a small following of witches that agreed with this ideal, but the clan was steadily becoming more and more on the verge of collapse...

Something would soon have to be done before the clan was split and a new generation of the Nightsisters was started.
