Disbelief by Linsey copyright 2001
The eyes of the innocent
Blindfolded by the hands of the guilty
Never to see the light shine bright
Only the darkness of their own hearts
Fear and pain take over your mind
Knowing that your no longer a person
But the possession of some man, some monster
Something to be teased, creased, and beaten by the power of a man
Did you want it they ask
Did you scream with pain or pleasure
Did you scrape his filth from your body
The words flow so easily from those left untouched
But for those of us who know the truth
They cut, and burn and never go away
Your disbelief just adds to my dismay
