Church, won't see a doctor because they feel the Bible says to just trust it to God,
and this has caused a few deaths...

children, and this isn't good.

to be Christian sects.

from the dead
Atheist142: Well, then, they're just taking a different interpretation.
Atheist142: I'm not saying they're right.
SofaPMan: A Christian is someone who believes Christ is
the Savior, the only way to get to heaven.. which excludes Jehova's
witness, Mormans, and def. Christian Science
Atheist142: Um, the Mormons' real name is the Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter-Day Saints.
Atheist142: And they'd probably say that you're wrong.

Atheist142: Well, Catholics and Protestents use different Bibles, but
they're both Christian.
Atheist142: Or at least no one conteste that they're both Christian.

Atheist142: The mormons use the Bible, plus a few books. Jehovah's
Witnesses use the Bible, plus their interpretation.

kind of biased to believe her when she tells me these things.

they both try to impale me with crosses :-)

Atheist142: She has a long list of "don'ts" on sex, and I don't

ask if you believed in sex before marriage
Atheist142: I think as long as people accept their consequences, then
they have the right to choose whatever they want.
Atheist142: Which isn't just a moral about sex, it covers jsut about
everything.
SofaPMan: oh... well, that sounds like something an athiest
would say... lol

SofaPMan: oh .... don't get me started on that... abortion, i

Atheist142: I think it's horribly wrong and I would never do it

as it's not late in the pregnancy, I see no reason why we should take away the
woman's right to choose (you're psychic :-))

Atheist142: I don't like it and I think that adoption is a wonderful
alternative, but I understand the reasons that some women would choose abortion,
and I would never do that myself unless the situation was drastic
SofaPMan: okay... statistics...
Atheist142: big, complicated situation :-)
SofaPMan: less than 5% of the abortions are from rape or
incest or really bad medical problems
Atheist142: Yes, I've heard that.
SofaPMan: well... the other reasons are just because they
don't want the responsibility
Atheist142: Not neccessarily.
SofaPMan: okay why else?
Atheist142: Well, pregnancy is a very emotionally and physically
disturbing time, it screws you up.
Atheist142: Mistakes happen, and I get that.
Atheist142: And the only other options are having your baby taken
away from you or having to deal with a responsibility that you're not prepared for.
SofaPMan: but kill someone, bc you made a mistake?
Atheist142: Not everyone believes it's killing someone.
Atheist142: But that's a whole other argument.
SofaPMan: but the truth is... it is killing
