SionaysisCapsule: Atheism is the absence of a god. That is not much
different from saying there is no God, but quite similar. If you can't get
that straight, don't IM me. Webster's is kinda wrong. Deal with it.
Atheist142: it makes a BIG difference with many people who would try
and convince me that my beliefs are wrong--but they are convincing me
out of the wrong beliefs.

Atheist142: well, if I believe there is no God, I hold a belief about
gods--that there is none. That is impossible to prove, and would be an
illogical claim, as many Christians have pointed out. However, a lack of
belief is very justified by the lack of any evidence for or against any
god/ess.

atheism is a faith. if you are athiest, you practice atheism. is isnt the belief in no god.

be wrong, and if i am, then so be it. athiesm is a loosly based faith. and to you, athiesm and
just no god, and thats it, no more, not even the possibility that you could at some point be
wrong

That's all. With no other clauses added. Everything else is up to the
person who you're talking to, so it's bad to assume anything else,
