Atheist142: In Mark somewhere, there's a story of a fig tree
Atheist142: that Jesus came upon a fig tree looking for figs and it wasn't fig
season so the tree had no figs
Atheist142: and JEsus cursed the tree, and the next day the disciples came back
and the tree was withered and dead

Atheist142: In Matthew (which was written later than Mark) somewhere, almost
the exact same story was told, but the fig tree withered immediately and the
disciples marveled
