Canada
...well, a taste of...
Here are a few links to get you started on my city, and my country
To learn about my city,(see below) Toronto...try the Toronto Star, the major daily newspaper.
...or, for national news, and better writing, go to the Globe and Mail, the best of the national daily newspapers in Canada.
...for cool, there's City TV, probably the hippest broadcaster in North America, and the one network that knows Toronto best...and if you want the latest weather and traffic here, check out their news network online, Cable Pulse 24.
Then there's Canada's answer to PBS...the CBC, desperately underfunded, but still the best voice of my home, on television and radio...and my partner's employer.
There's loads more about Toronto at toronto.com, including pics, events, what to do, even links to the gay community.
I suppose I should also send you to where I used to work,
The National Ballet of Canada, although they don't mention the orchestra on the site, which is what I did for a "living"...
It's hard to summarize a country in a few links, but hopefully it'll be a start for those of you that have never been here, or are planning on coming over for a visit...
