All were rescued either due to age, health problems
(making them unadoptable despite their wonderful attitudes), or previous mis-treatment.
He does an excellent job of representing an ideal pet to the public eye.
He lives in the shelter due to permanent blindness.
The cats are not confined to cages at all,
they have the run of the shelter's back halls and rooms.
The dogs have the run of the shelter except for the reception area all day, every day.
They are warm, and comfortable and see the shelter's caring staff as their "family".
