When I first saw this About Me section, I
knew its going to be the toughest part of making a website. I really don't
have a clue how to do this. You know I really dont like writing these
things. I mean, what do you say to make people stay surfing at your
website? I'm not a fan of changing yourself for anything. With me, what
you see is what you get. That's why biographies irritate me so much.
I'm
supposed to tell you all the amazing things I've accomplished, drop a few
names here and there, and sell myself as a product. I don't want to do
that now. So here it is. My un-glorified bio. The 'true' story between me
and my history. For as long as I can remember, and from what my family
recalls, I was always being an active child when I was small. You know,
I'll throw almost anything that I can get my hands on. I jumped and I ran
a lot. I could tidy the house within seconds! Perhaps thats why my mum
worried a lot; she thought I was a hyperactive child. I was born two
weeks early on February 14th, 1985. (Yeah, I know its Valentine's Day!). I
only weighed 4 pounds 5 ounces. I guess I just couldn't wait to get out
and see the world. I haven't changed a bit.
For those of you who don't know me, well,
my name is Mustaqeem bin Mohd. Adam. I'm from Bandar Sri Damansara, Kuala
Lumpur, MALAYSIA. My life is just like a 'gypsy'.
One day I'm here and the
next I'm somewhere else. I was born in Kishwaukee Community Hospital,
Illinois, US on Thursday morning to a wonderful parent which I greatly appreciated all
their sacrifice in bring me up to be the man I am today. Thank You mum and
dad! I have lived in so many different places like Kayu Ara, Subang Jaya,
Sungai Buloh and planning maybe to move to Gombak in the future. Since I have moved so
many places, of course, I also have been in so many schools such as
SRI
Al-Huda in Gombak,
Rendell Primary School &
Limehurst High School
(both of these schools are in Loughborough, UK) and
SMK Taman Bukit
Maluri. Then I pursue my study in
Matriculation Centre of International Islamic University Malaysia (MCIIUM)
taking Information and Communication Technology (ICT) programme for a
year, Insya-Allah. Alhamdulillah, I've entered the
Garden of Knowledge and
Virtue!
~Flying to Te Whare Wānanga o te Upoko o Te Ika a Māui~
I'm the
'commander-in-chief' of my siblings, 8 altogether, but they are not the
mischief ones. OK so here it goes chronologically:
myself > Afifah ('86) > Mu'az ('87) > Aizat ('88) > Ayman ('90) > Ammar ('91) > Irfan
('97) > Inas Sofiya ('01). Maybe next time I have to draw my family
tree. Who knows? Having brought up in a big family really make us feel
more closer to one another. Even if a person missing, the sense of
contentment would not be the same. That's how bond we are together. One thing for sure, we can practice 'debating' among ourselves
very often! I'm really really thankful to Allah SWT coz I have the best
parent anyone could ever had. They give me support when I'm down. They
gave me advice when I needed. They are all I ever had in this world. God
bless them both and may they live a happy life in this World & the
Hereafter!
