I started depositing atleast one thousand INR (1000.00 being minimum amount)each years till Dec-2021 IST.
I was unable to close NPS till Mon 18-Apr-2022 IST.
On Mon 18-Apr-2022 IST I called following number after 08:00 AM IST.
a. Dial 1800222080
b. press 1
c. After 1/2 seconds press 1
d. After 1/2 seconds press 1
e. After 1/2 seconds press 1
f. After 1/2 seconds press 1
g. When asked for PRAN pressed my PRAN number.
h. Wait for automatic response asking user to press 1
i. Press 1
j. Press your 4digit password xxxx for your pran
k. Wait for 1/2 seconds and Press 9
l. Wait for them to take your call(since users to be in queue like the way waiting in queue to pray ALIEN/GODDESS/GOD)
Here goes the steps to close NPS after completing 5 year deposit at NPS.

Provide: 1. email id 2. Contact number 3. Description 4. selected items(mentioned at green colour in image). Click Submit. After submitting download the pdf shown at next page. Wait for 2 weeks(maximum) to close your NPS. |
