~ not expect a doctor to be knowledgeable in treating a perfectly healthy biological function,   since their training is in diagnosis and treatment of malfunction, rather than the facilitation      and maintenance of wellness

~ use Reliv as my preconception and prenatal supplement

~ be confident in what I know my body was created to do

~ be more confident in my intuition

~ not try to work during the first half of my pregnancy, or work shorter, more flexible hours

~ educate myself on current research
and results for the choices I face

~ not give up hope easily

~ make sure my immune system is 
functioning as highly as possible
before conceiving

~ learn more about comfort measures
during labor

~ push and/or deliver in a more upright
position

~ use water (bath/shower/pool) for pain
relief

~ rest and/or sleep during early first
stage labor

~ allow vaginal checks only to
determine complete dilation at the urge
to push, but not for checking progress
during normal uncomplicated labor

~ eat fruit, crackers and other light
things during labor (excluding dairy products)

~ drink water and juice throughout labor to stay well hydrated
