You may cover the completed sword
with a cloth cover if you so wish.
Most of the items can be readily found at HOME DEPOT
or at some other home building supply place.
The one exception is the 1 5/8" x 1/2" pipe insulation,
I found some at:

Use their search box and type in: pipe insulation.
The kind you want is made of Polyethylene Foam!!!
This is VERY IMPORTANT!!!
