Summary of Griffinsdale

Griffinsdale

Created during the third age by the legendary Valkaries, Griffinsdale is home to vast forests and black granite hills. This black granite is highly prized throughout the lands of Murkwood. The people of Griffinsdale are highly skilled in the stone working trade and have created some of the finest examples of stone artwork that can be found in all the known lands. It is said that a piece of black granite must be polished for one full year before it is ready to be used! Tours of the working granite mines of Griffinsdale bring visitors from far and wide ti Griffinsdale. Each year tens of thousands of people from all races come to spend their hard earned earned gold and silver on some of the many works of art created by Griffinsdales Artisans. A legendary half Elf, half Human female army guards the borders to Griffinsdale and those that dare to cross that army are never heard from again! Griffindale supplies its southern neighbor Elfsland with the wood Yew, used in the production of Elven bows. The people of Griffinsdale are peaceful Artisans and Traders and are generally good natured.
