Summary of The Great Unknown

The Great Unknown

The largest territory in the land of Murkwood and also the most evil! The Great Unknown is home to just about every foul creature one can imagine! Zombies, Vampires, Trolls, Goblins, Orcs, Werewolfs, and even Huge Dragons have been seen roaming the Great Unknown. The deepest foray into this region was led by Ironric von Doom during the first age. Ironric led a huge army into the area, penetrating from the West. Many of Ironrics forces grew sick from the foul stench that permeated the area, the force was constantly attacked as they delved deeper and deeper into the darkness. A seemingly endless stream of unspeakable creatures would wage constant war day and night on the mighty warlord. Necromancers would cause the dead of Ironrics army to rise up and fight against their former master as Zombies! Finally Ironric reasoned that this barren land wasn�t worth the risk or the losses he was sustaining and so he ordered his army out of the Great Unknown and vowed never to return! The evil had other plans. As Ironric fought his way out of the Great Unknown the evil creatures followed, hidden at a safe distance. It was as if some unseen evil power was controlling them as a whole, wanting only to learn of the world outside its borders! Learning, planning, and waiting for the right moment to strike at the forces of good in Murkwood. We must be ever vigilant against the Great Unknown!!!
