Summary of Dragondale

Dragondale

Created during the first age by a group of Warriors. Dragondale is home to some of the most unusual rock formations ever seen. Most formations resemble Dragons. The origins of these formations are unclear but legend has it that Dragons once flourished in this part of Murkwood and the people living there carved the formations to honor the mighty creatures. Dragons are known to be very vain creatures and were flattered when they saw the formations and so let the people of Dragondale coexist in peace with them. Dragondales economy is supported largely by a thriving tourist trade with local villages taking visitors on tours of the many stunning rock formations that dot the countryside. Dragondale mantains a small army to defend its borders but has established a strong alliance with both Fardale and Darkinor. The Guild Mages of Darkinor make many pilgrimages to Dragondales rock formations because they believe there is great magical energy flowing from them. The peace and tranquility of Dragondale make it a much visited place by all people in the lands of Murkwood.
