Limited Transcribe Fox Murdoch
Hello all, I've got something I've been cooking up for a while for you today. Although this article was originally made written back in September of last year, my partner Daza happened to lose his half of the imformation, so you'll be treated to half of the information you would expect from a transcribe of a game. Anyway, what I do have I've given you all to gaze upon.
Our tremendous battle started as Mirrodin block was fully unveiled, and Kamigawa was about to show its proverbial head. Being the biggest fan of Mirrodin in my group of players, I asked around to see who wanted a Mirrodin Darksteel Fifth Dawn draft and got one volunteer, Daza. Running over to Tin Soldier we got our cards and opened then at the library, assembling our decks.
After some time we were finished and ready to play, however the librarians were getting a bit iffy. The library closes at 6pm sharp, and the time was only 5.57. Enough time for a game? We thought not.
So off we went to my house, where we got pens, opened books and shuffled. The following is how our games went, and you notice a the lack of Daza's hand for the entire game. Again, we're sorry for that (he has a baby brother, if that will help explain it!).
So please enjoy what I think is the first ever Limited transcribe of a Mirrodin, Darksteel, Fifth Dawn 2 player booster draft game!!

So how's that for a first game! Having chosen black and red as main colours, and only managing to get 1 thing that's even remotely red into play, fancy that! And with a Spikeshot Goblin from the start! I learnt one thing from this match: regenerating pump-ups are excellent threats.
Seeing I didn't draw my red nor get that many red mana producers, I decided to peel all the green from my deck to up my chances of drawing red, and improving the overall performance.

So the second game is over a lot quicker. Thanks to Daza's apparent mana-flooding, he hardly got anything out to answer my threats, however he planted the Skullcage nice and early. If he had've been playing a discard deck I could've really been hurt again.
I'm pleased with the overall result of the match. I seriously didn't think my deck was 2-0 material, but sometimes you just get lucky and your opponent mana flooded/screwed. Who knows how things could've gone?
I hope you all enjoyed this article (that was roughly 5 months in the making before it was torn in half) and please let me know if you like the idea of more transcribes! I'll be sure to do some Champions - Betrayers - Betrayers draft in the future.
Cheers all, Fox Murdoch (Darkur_fox).
