| Aniello Dellacroce was the Underboss to both Carlo Gambino and Paul Castellano. Aniello ran the blue collar organizations of the Gambino Family from the Ravenite Social Club. Aniello was a mentor and had a big influence on a young John Gotti. When Dellacroce passed away in December 2, 1985, the long truce between the two factions of the Gambino Family died also. Within fourteen days Boss of Bosses Paul Castellano was gunned down in front of Spark's Steakhouse. |
