Alex

BIOGRAPHY
The
guitar player Alex has decided to start playing after the metal explosion
of the early Nineties, stricken by albums such as Megadeth’s Rust in
Peace, Maiden’s Fear of the Dark and other classics of that period.
Too bad having missed the golden period of the Eighties, but frenzies listenings
in the followings years should have put a dent in it…
He tried to learn playing guitar and bass, but he came across huge difficulties
due to his isolation upon the local music scene, along with problems with
finding good instruments and amps. Still in some ways he succeeded in put
together a band and some guitar and bass playing skills. Till the start he
has practised more with songwriting process than with sheer technique, and
this might have been a mistake, but having good songs is always a mark, isn’t
it? The bands went and came for years, but he didn’t find a stable line
up till Omega band with Stefano, and the same period the punk rock band Ignition,
with Luca T after the drums: some of the most important music experiences
came from those bands. Indeed Omega split was very tough to accept, and the
following experience in another heavy metal band didn’t fill the void,
so it was a natural step for him heeding the call of Stefano…
GUITAR – AMPS
He plays a Jackson guitar with Marshall amps, and an Ibanez borrowed from singer BleedinDarkLove, forget the stacks of Fender and Gibson that many turds can afford after six months of reharsal! Make the ends meet is a always a fucking problem you know… have you ever wondered why this Net space is free?
FAV METAL BANDS
Among the favourites bands, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Megadeth, Metallica, Running Wild are the first that come to mind, but there is an huge amount of other artists that I won’t quote for lack of space
WHAT A SHIT!
All the music around nowadays, seems that everyone but the oldies has forgotten how to write a good rock – punk - metal – and even pop – albums! Or they has never learnt that, couldn’t be? Really, there are any exceptions but the largest number sucks. And it’s quite obvious anyway, trivial times deserve crappy music…
