The "Ultimate Camaro"
A 1/12 scale model masterpiece!!
While it may appear that I am in a rut, the '69 Camaro is a favorite of mine and looks great in many different configurations. After building 4 exact replicas of real cars I decided to take a break, flex my creativity, and make something unique, for myself, and BIG!
What you see here are the "mark-ups" I do on every model I begin. The black lines indicate sink-marks or modification points (trim removal, seam filling) that need attention. Before I even get this far I create a list of modifications I will make and stick to it! This prevents "design-creep" that stalls a good build. This car will have a unique hood and hood-scoop treatment, flush glass and door handles, opened doors and trunk, '69 T/A style spoiler, rear diffuser, and C5 Corvette tail and marker lamps.
Later, a Banks twin-turbo 350, T-56, Corvette IRS, Auto Meter gauges, Recaro seats, and functional lights will be incorporated!
Stay tuned for updates!!
This is the 1/12 scale photo-etch I commissioned MCG to manufacture, polished and ready for a chrome dip!!
MCG now offers this set to the public, check their site in the links section.

Inspiration!!
Ahhh, twin-turbos!
Nobody makes twin-turbo chevy engines like Gale Banks! Mine will be with a DFI set-up and different intake set-up but this picture gets the point across!
