A beautiful assassin from the desert planet Dira. The large hands like wings are retractable, extending to about a quarter of a mile at their greatest length and able to lie flat on her back. They are very strong, enabling her to walk on them, and have her body suspended horizontally from the ground. They are fully functional as hands and can grasp things. They are also non-living in the sense that they give off no heat, so they can avoid heat sensors and feel no pain. Her weapons of choice are her two semi-automatic guns, Pain and Suffering. She also has a pack filled with small, but potent explosives and lethal poison capsules. The circular symbol on her hands and breastplate is the religious symbol, Ruma. They worship this cyclical symbol of divine equality. The mark on her forehead is actually a smear of blood from her first victim placed there by Roujin the Elder, making her a true member of Dira.
After having Fain and Kujen join the Casis pirates, they caught word of the location of Vitt the murderous bastard who killed Kujens love Emi. He was hiding on the remote and desolate frontier on the far side of Dira. He had found an abandoned military base and was using it to build weapons and an army to overthrow the rule on Uzim. After he had killed Emi, the knowledge of this drove him to the point of insanity. He became bent on controlling the kingdom that had produced his madness inducer, Emi. They landed several miles away from the camp within the sand dunes and dull sun. As they began to approach, they noticed a figure lying in the sand. When they got closer they realized it was a female Dira assassin. She had been horribly wounded so they decided to take care of her then get Vitt. Fain attended to her wounds harnessing his energy for healing, while Vega and Kujen headed out to kill Vitt.
They lucked out, because the base was vacant. The troops seemed to be out drilling else where but they noticed a nice vehicle was parked outside. That must be Commander Vitts. That bastard was still here. They slipped stealthily into the main headquarters, probably the most likely place for Vitt to be. As they slipped past the window they caught a glimpse of him sitting at his desk typing. Kujens eyes flickered with revenge as he led the way into the building.
Catching Vitt by surprise he had no time to defend himself before Kujen had run him through with his trident, pinning him to the wall, as three steams of blood began to stain the wall. Not able to say anything due to a semi-punctured lung, he squirmed and suffered, finally dying, the blood debt repaid. They returned to the ship quickly, for fear that the troops might return. They were greeted by Fain, along with the wounded girl who had completely healed. She bowed low, offering Vega her services in return from saving her from certain death. Vega agreed, but said that the oath must be made in a bar, because that is where pirate deals are made. So she took them all to the local bar and toasted their newest companion. |
