A member of the Rashki, an ancient race of creatures that control energy itself. They are a force that is feared all around the galaxy, due to their strange appearance and awesome power. They carry the mystic weapon Soushiki. Made from a flexible black metal it can be used in many different types of attack. At the base there is a metal ball to conduct energy and a pointed blade to stab or stun with the harnessed energy of electricity. The thing clasped to his shoulder is a Nog. Nogs are creatures from the underworld that are protectors and destroyers. They protect the Lord of Death, Thuum and destroys his enemies. The initiation rite into the elite Rashki, is to lure one out of its home and bind it to you as your lifelong protector. This is done by having it taste your flesh, letting it know the substance of its new master. Its presence also assures one that your soul will be taken care of after you die and brought to the top level of paradise, Nett. Called by a distant colony to rid them of dangerous energy pockets, Fain made a supply stop at Orange Zion, the refuge to pirates, and entered the local bar and lounge to relax. Finding a comfy, pillowed corner he sat down removing his purple-black Dekake cloak and leaned back closing his eyes. As he removed his cloak, revealing his soulless mask, those who were near him slunk away from him slowly, with fear laced eyes. Yet soon after that, he felt weight being put on the pillow nearest him. Opening his eyes, he saw an armor clad woman in black. As he sat up she handed him a drink of water. "I'm Vega. This one's on me" "Fain usuom ot." he replied. "Oh I see, so your name is Fain. By the looks of it you are a Rashki, the underworld demon riding on your shoulder does kinda give it away." He chuckled slightly, enjoying the joke and the fact that she wasn't afraid of him. "Your power is legendary and you seem to be a superb fighter, would you like to join my team of pirates? We could use someone like you." Intrigued and eager to be known for his skills in combat and not his race he decided to join. He nodded agreement and toasted their new alliance. |
