Also the previous owner of the holy sword was Kali, but Skanda tricked her into letting him touch it and he tainted it with his chaos. Durga, one of Kali�s loyal followers, and also a devious fiend, seduced Skanda and stole the sword. Kali caught on and created a lesser blade called the Dead Moon blade for her brother to wield. He was fooled and was forced to have the Dead Moon blade. However the citizens of the land were afraid of Skanda�s wrath and the fact that Durga continued to possess the sword, so they exiled Durga, destroyed her left eye, the eye thought to hold one�s enlightenment. They also ripped the earring of their clan straight out of her ears. Screaming in pain she swore revenge, slaughtering all the priests of both temples with the holy blade. After doing this a red stain appeared in the center of the blade. Betrayed by her family, they sent her to the prison near the sun, where Vega was also being held.
