Oriya is a pimp, running his business with high class whores, all in the disguise of a noble restaurant.

He is the best and maybe only friend of Muraki. They know each other since they both studied at the same university. Oriya is most of the time verry worried about Muraki’s safety. But Muraki endangers himself without caring much about Oriya.

Oriya is heavily addicted to opium. Therefore he needs the help of his friend, the doctor, on a regular basis. On one hand to provide him with new drugs, on the other hand to rescue him when he took too much.

Oriya holds strong emotions for Muraki, but he himself is not really aware of this. And he deeply loves one of Muraki’s creatures, Hisoka Kurosaki, the one Muraki sent to him to entertain Oriya and to look after him.
