In Memory Of Our Daughter
Misty Dawn Cartwright
Misty was born on July 24, 1986.  She was a beautiful baby and Glen and I felt blessed with her.  Two days after she was born we had to rush her to a childrens hospital because of a heart mumur.  A week later we got to bring her home.  We had to keep her calm for a few months until her heart grew a little more.
Misty grew into such a cute and mischief toddler.  She was always getting into things just to see what made them tick.  When she was two years old we gave her a brother.  She loved Matthew so much and in a way I think she thought she was his mommy.
When Matthew got a little older the two of them were always getting into things.  One day while I was talking to a woman at the door they put spices into the fish tank killing all the fish.  Another time I was in the back room of our home and they took cold ashes from the fireplace and covered my furniture with them.  What a mess!
When Misty was three and a half years old she started having seizures.  Within the next year she lost the abilities to walk, talk and most of her site.  During that time we had gone to five hospitals with no answers.  all they could tell us was there was no cure and she was dying.
On June 30, 1993 Misty went  to heaven very peacefully.  We were crushed yet knew now she was without pain.
Even though it has been a while since we lost her in our minds she is still that cute little girl of three who could shake like Elvis.
My Misty, heaven is where you are meant to be
I feel the Angels came down and took you from me
So pain and sadness you will not see
And from all the bad things in this life you are now free
One day us your family you will see
But until then know that we all love thee
