Water puppetry was used to tell sories, but the method was very rough and at the mercy of the element which also limited the control of the performance. | Body puppets are used mostly in festivals. The body puppet allows for a larger than life puppet that usually requries many manipulators for a single puppet. The movement is usually slow and lacks speech, it is replaced by music. Mickey Mouse in a Disneyland parade is an example of this puppet. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
