| Before...lovely orange carpet. It was so dirty, I didn't want to walk on it in my bare feet! |
| During...here we've ripped up all of the carpet (yes, I wore a dust mask and goggles). We found they had glued the carpet down, so we got to scrape glue for several hours before we could paint. Fun, fun, fun! |

| After (kind of)...we've painted the concrete for now. We still need to install baseboards. The living room is so large that it will probably be next year before we get to do much with it. |

| Hooray! I got my piano. I have been wanting a house for years, mostly because that meant I could have get my piano from mom and dad's. This piano was bequeathed to me when I was only two, and I cherish every scar the buckles on my mary janes scraped into the bench. |
