Landscaping
Remember how desolate the landscaping was when we moved in?
Just look at our front now!  It's getting better and better!  We only lost about 5 holly in the front (not bad, considering what we bought was the dregs of the season).  Those have been replaced, and we've lined the beds with brick.
Planting some holly and a few flowers (including a couple of hydrangeas) was about all we could do the first year.  After all, we moved in during the summer, when the  planting season was just about over.
We've worked a lot on our front beds this spring.  We've planted petunias, and our hydrangeas are growing back stronger than ever.  Our sedum are going to be HUGE this year, too!
We've added some plantings to our front porch, too.  It looks much more homey.
We even planted some tearoses around our mailbox (yes, we replaced that, too)!
Out by the garage, we've planted three climbing rosebushes.  We just added the trellis today.  Brandon elevated the edging, and we added soil to the whole bed.  We'll change the edging someday, but for now, it's so much nicer!
