Bathrooms
Okay, here were the ugly old lights, wallpaper, and rusty shelves (tetanus, anyone?) BEFORE our initial transformation.
Remember the before pic?  Yuck!
We haven't done too much, but Amy's dad helped (okay did) put up some paintable texture wallpaper.  We haven't decided exactly what we're doing with this area yet, so it's still just white.  MUCH better, though, don't you think?  Even with the gold-flecked faux marble countertops and that darn Spanish heavy cabinetry.
This was better, but the cabinets were still oogy (see below)!
We have done a lot to improve the bathrooms, and we have more planned!  So far, we have:

Taken down the columns, so it doesn't look like a
       prison
Removed the trim and painted the cabinets cream in
the master bath and white in the hall bath
Removed the old cabinet and door hardware and
replaced it with new handles and hinges in both
       bathrooms

We'll post pics of the master bath when we finish our redecoration of the bedroom!
What'd I tell you?  Not too pretty, eh?  Well, check out the improvement a little paint can make!
(insert chorus of angels singing here)  Such a difference!  Now if we could get rid of the ugly orange carpet...
What we plan to complete in the next year:

Replace floor in hall bath
Paint master bath
New cabinets in master bath (gots to get rid of the gold-flecked fanciness that's in there).  Sheesh.
