| Tips For Using Muppetbot |
Profile PopupsWhen you click on someone's name on the muppetbot pages, it should pop up a second window with their profile! If it gives you the jdate login screen, you aren't logged into jdate.com. Simple: Log in, then close that window. You should now have a cookie with jdate.com. On the muppetbot page, click on the name you originally clicked on, and now a page should show up with their profile!If no page at all appears, the profile is probably in a covered window. You should switch around your open windows to find the profile window -- once the profile window is created, muppetbot just updates that window, it doesn't create a third one. Two PagesThis may be obvious: Don't leave chat to look up the muppetbot page! Open up a second browser window. In AOL it is a little tricky, but you can open up two internet windows too! Then use one to enter chat and the other to keep muppetbot showing. Every few minutes, on the muppetbot window, hit the Refresh button or scroll to the bottom and click on one of the links. The data will update, and you'll be in chat the entire time!Good luck! I have tested these on AOL on Mac and Internet Explorer on PC. I hope they work for you too! Back to the main page | ||
