Paige McManus

I was born on June 25th, 1985 in San Antonio to my parents Terry and Barbara. My family is wonderful, loving and close. My favorite color is blue. I learned to play clarinet in 6th grade and with that, learned to read music. When I moved on to Marshall High school, it really helped me enter the choir program. I moved on to make the TMEA All State choir twice. I am blessed to have been put in the choir program at my school, because it really developed me as a musician and a performer.
I think my inspiration to be a musician comes from The Little Mermaid, as the first thing I remember singing was 'Ah, Ah, Ah' on a Playskool table in a bluegreen leotard and mismatched tutu. There you have it: the beginnings of my music career right there. I know that I am exactly where I need to be, as a freshman here at Texas State. I want people to rememeber me in Mu Phi as loving, open-minded, fun, talented and loyal to my friends.
