A rather fuzzy photo of two-year-old Catherine and her pal Axel (Craigburg Baron of Hansmic.) He was both a show dog and stud dog, siring show and working dogs, as well as a lovely family pet, and was utterly reliable with even the smallest children. In spite of the fact that he was almost as tall as my daughter - and considerably heavier - I knew I could always trust him with her completely.
