Drew Varley

Drew grew up in Shakespeare's birthplace until he was 14. Then his parents moved to Chicago and he's been there ever since. He graduated from Randolph Academy High School in 1996 afer which he decided to take a year off from school and work at his father's law firm. He began college at Roosevelt University in Chicago in the fall of 1997, majoring in pre-law. Since then, he has changed his major 3 times: to Communications, to Elementary Education, and then to Theatre. Once he began in the theatre department, he found his niche and began throwing himself into theatrical projects heart and soul, much to the chagrin of his father.

Drew has played Mungojerrie in CATS on Broadway and in the CATS Video. He has also had various other roles both regionally and professionally. He still takes classes at RU when he's not in a show. He has remained very close to his mother and younger sister, Teri, but is still at odds with his father.
