I had a great time at Student Life, didn't you? With a familiar pastor (David Nasser) and worship leader (Joel Engle) I was able to focus on worship. It was also really cool since it was up in the mountains, just for the view and all the nature that was around us. The only bad things about that were the humongous crazy bugs and all the hills we had to walk up, but sometimes the bugs were fun.
Everyday when we climbed up the mountain to Rec, I screamed at the top of my lungs to try to get at least our group excited about it. I was on the red squad and we kicked some tail even though we didn't win squad of the week. That's right, "Bloody noses are red and so are we!"
I really enjoyed spending time with the church group and just talking to the guys my age about things God showed me last week. No, me and Chris Gray didn't pull any pranks, I'm serious. Ryan Frith is the man. Plus, Chase Satterwhite and I hung out a lot and just acted silly.
Additionally, what really excited me was just hanging out with Jeremy all week. 'Cause whenever we're together, something fun's gotta happen. Jeremy and I were in the Student Worship Service, Tuesday at 2:45 ten minutes after we practiced the song we were going to play, that I only wrote 2 weeks ago.
