What a year. Let's hope next year is better. Anyway I'm not gonna list the bad things only the good.
The weather was wild here, I got a picture of a lightning bolt over the park. I've been back heavily into photography, so I take advantage of any situation to take my cameras out.
Kathryn has been doing great at Pak N Save. She is moving up the ranks. Kathryn was invited to a special lunchen where the president of Pak N Save presented her with a "Excellent Service" award. The store manager seems to be grooming her for second assistant. On the day of her lunch, I rushed out to get a picture of her in her new outfit.
Pak N Save uses "secret shopper" who come in and pretend to be customers. Then rate the store from one to ten. When Kathryn is running the front end, they all ways get nines and tens. When the other head clerks run the front end they get five to seven. If she gets a few more tens, Pak N Save will have another lunchen for her and present her with $500 of Safeway stock.
We are all so proud of Kathryn here and are happy with the great job she's doing.
