Griffon Fever

Griffon fever was found in the off world of Baltimore. Like a wave, Griffons arrived in hopes to see their brethren in the flesh. This land was chilly and proved to be very different to what the Fellowship was accustomed to. Aristobulos and Dags setup the meeting place and had all the drink and food the Griffons could handle. Dags’s garage held the band of players. Aristobulos had the Grill hot and cooking some of his personal best hamburgers. It was a bit chilly but the warmth of the Fellowship finally meeting made them feel welcome.  Markk and Natailee, Bakeree and Coneta, Periden, Vig, stood and sat about talking and chatting with each others, While Dreambearer, Everstar, Cirren, and Terras talked over guild events. Trulight came with Shim and Carr and added tot eh festivities.  Kasshan; although not holding a Griffon tag is a good and cherished friend, and was most welcome into the Fellowship. I, Nikiny, was last to arrive, making the list of attending Griffon complete. Everyone said there hellos and the /hugs. The night went long as they talked what seemed like forever. It got early in the morning and the Griffons though still talkative wished to /camp for the night. Aristo and Dags lead them to BestWestern a nice place and beat out the Norrathian side roads, hands down. They all went to their prospected room and /camped.

A few hours later the strange noise of rosters filled the air. Periden’s stomach automatically took this sound for the breakfast bell and searched for the creature. He was never heard from again. The remaining Griffons gathered in the lobby and talked over the night’s events. Some with sleep in their eyes, still had their /afk tag on and Dream quickly told them of it. Aristo and Dags came and lead them to an eatery, where the food was grand and hot. When they ate their fill, Aristo lead them to a mall. Now the Griffons never saw a Mall before, and were shocked that this place was as busy as Thurgadin. Soon the Griffons found themselves in Naggy’s Lair facing the dragon naked and defenseless. Markk slashed and Natailee healed his wounds. Wait that’s another story sorry.   The Griffons found themselves sitting in a theater as the words, “The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring”, cam across the screen in front of them. The crowd behind them smirked and smiled as the Griffons shouted, “DING! TRAIN!” All had good times. Aristo and Dags lead the Griffons out the mall and into the sea of things called cars all lined up in rows. The Griffons shocked walk in between them and heat from the sun made them squint their eyes.

Later in the day Vig lead them all to a club. This was fun cause there was this guy talking and from his lips came jokes. Tears filled the Griffons eyes, as they laughed so hard. Drinks were served and getting anxious to eat. Aristo and Dags lead them to TGI Fridays. This was the place of all places, and a good choice for the meeting. The air was thick with conversation as the guild talked over in game events and planed raids. Pictures were taken for all prosperity. Markk and Natailee talked of their adventures on the Moon, while Aristo and Dreambearer spoke of their up coming wedding. All had a grand time. The night came to a close and the Griffons headed to the new place for them to /camp. As the Griffon laid their heads down to sleep, dreams of hunting and camping spawns danced in their heads. The morning came and all rubbed the sleep from their eyes and met down stairs in the lobby for breakfast. More talking ensued and more Griffons came down to join the conversations. As the sun came up, the Griffons hunger arose. They headed to a café where good food and Griffon stories were told. The buffet was long and delicious. As the Griffons sat down to eat the outside wind blew. It was cold that day and the Griffons hearts were heavy for some of them need to go. As they finished their lunch they paid their bills. The Griffons headed out into the cold. It was a somber moment and they had the first of many Guild hugs. The minds of the Griffons were ones of pride.  Markk and Natailee along with Vig said their good byes. Eyes became swelled with tears as the Griffons parted. The rest had the long drive back to Dags house for a short while till more Griffons had to leave. The day had been a beautiful one; one that the Griffons will never forget. Dags the rake began his job of raking. The piles of leave gathered. And Aristo said goodbye to me. It was a grand time; one that all the Griffon thought was short but every sweet.

To all the Griffons I say this. Thank you for being the Fellowship that you are. Many moon will past with the love and friendship that we share for each other in game and not. Thank you for being a Guild of wonders. Thanks to The Fellowship of the Griffon.
