1. Findings of this study should be echoed to the participants to assist them in understanding their profile, level of self-esteem, and ranking of values and attitudes for Global Citizenship. To boost self-esteem, the school guidance programme should include �action activities,� in cooperation with the parent/guardian at home, and the OFW parent/s via Internet. The Internet caf�s maybe tapped for the needed physical facilities.
2. The city governance together with the school, community, and NGOs working for the family welfare of OFW parents should create a communication centre using the website: http://www.geocities.com/mundo_natin/ with the OFW parents. It should also function as a hotline centre. As part of the pre-departure orientation for OFW parent/s, the group should give basic computer modules to boost communicate between family members, school, and OFW parents.
3.The various NGOs should avail of the findings reflected in the website, and replicate its procedures in other cities, regions, and nationwide for various action programmes for the OFW families.
4.Studies to enrich local research materials should be conducted to investigate the variables with various groups such as: students with OFW parent/s and students whose parents are working locally; students with OFW parent/s from both the public and private school systems, and OFW parents according to specific variables such as work type.
5.A continuous development programme (matrix form) is recommended for use in the four public high schools were the research was conducted.
