Actively participated in many industry organizations, including as Chairman of several and worked with the NMPA and on the inaugural committee of the MPA LA Chapter, where I introduced Bob Pittman of the newly created MTV. Was the first woman as well as first British person nominated for the ASCAP Board of Directors. Majority of my staff progressed to senior positions within the industion or developed their own successful companies
For my first film assignment with Linda Yellen's directed and produced, "Chantilly Lace" was successful in obtaining consent for their music from Carole King, Buffy St. Marie, Enya, Annie Lennox, Sarah Hickman, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Jane Siberry, Carlene Carter and Martha Davis.
Is known for her excellent communication skills and is at ease with such diverse personalities as Keith Moon, Sir George Martin, Billy Idol, Nick Lowe, Johnny Cash, Blondie, Pat Benatar, Elton John, Bernie Taupin, Arif Mardin, Aimee Man, Paula Cole, Henry Rollins, film directors, producers, lawyers, company heads and policitians. Ann has met many artists, including three of the Beatles.
Developed the successful UK music campaign "All Different All Equal" (European campaign agains prejudice of any kind) involving many of the UK's leading stars, artist managers, companies and the media.
