| Lani's Story | ||||||||||
| Lani flew among the flowers and leaves. She was looking for her thinking spot. She stopped at the wild flowers and turned back towards the lily of the valley leaves. She flew through the first set of plants and there in the midst of all the flowers was her thinking leaf. She flew down to it and sat. She folded her wings up and sat back. She twirled a lock of her pale lilac hair around her fingers. She had to make a decision. A decision whether to move her family to safety or stay behind and lose her home. Caeyln from the east forest had predicted the demise of the forest and Arwen had predicted that the spring, flowers and plants where what the humans wanted. The four royal mermaid families had already decided to move out back into the ocean to stay safe. They originally had moved to the spring to be out of harms way. This way with their move back they were closer to their people. As for the floral faes and leaf faes she had to help them in her decision. She was the leaf seer. She should be able to see the demise of the south forest. But she could not. Everyone was relying on her to make a decision. Her mother wanted her to have a vision so her decision would be easier. Her new husband wanted a decision about moving his family. She didnt know what to do. So she had come to her thinking spot. She looked around at all the flowers and leafs in the area. This was her home. A home she had never had in danger before. While she sat she thought of all the discussions of the past 48 hours with Caelyn and Chailyn and some of each seer family. Caelyn was her great aunt and Arwen was a distant cousin. While she sat watching the forest go by her she finally had a vision. She saw what Arwen saw, only the flowers were all gone, the leaves destroyed, the trees chopped down and shattered. Her vision affected her so much that she was on her back writhing in pain. She shot up knowing what to do. She was going to move her family to the deepest part of the forest and then from there to safety on the outskirts of the south forest. She was going to protect her family from seeing the destruction in her vision at all costs. | ||||||||||
