She with her red flowing hair matched her ancestor Ariel to the tail fin. She watched as her father brought her younger sister in for their dance class. She was always early. Her sister Lily was always late, or didn�t show up at all. The dance teacher stopped Anilyn before she started again with her steps to welcome Lily back to class.
�Anilyn please continue while I go over what your sister has missed� said Ms. Conch. She left Anilyn to tend to Lily.
Anilyn went through her dance steps and she played the music in her head. Out of the corner of her eye she saw her father watching her with adoring eyes. She wanted to make him so proud. So she continued like Ms. Conch said and started from the beginning.
She started from the middle of the ballroom curled up into a ball and waited for a few minutes before unraveling her self into the complicated turns and flips that she had just learned. This was her moment to prove to her father that she was ready to go before the suitors that would come next week. She knew of one suitor that was coming and hoped he enjoyed her dance because he was the one she wanted to marry.
When she was done her dance her father clapped and she stopped to look at him. �Daddy I think I am ready to go before the suitors next week�
�I believe you are. You look so much like Ariel did. I only met her once when she came back down for a wedding a long time ago.�
�Thank you daddy. I will be ready. But Lily she is nowhere near ready. She was probably out treasure hunting again.�
�She is still young. I am not going to expect her to be ready this year. Maybe next year.�
The king kissed the top of Anilyn�s head and continued to stare at her as she worked through the moves of her dance. He did not want to loose his eldest daughter but he needed an heir to the throne incase something happened. Anilyn would be a great heir. She had a good heart and a good head on her shoulders. And with the husband she picks she will not only be an heir but a great heir to his throne.
