| Aerowyn - the Frost Faery | |||||||||||||||

| Aerowyn was created without the use of molds. She was sculpted over a strong wire armature with a polymer clay special blend. Her eyes are polymer clay painted in a blue shimmer. They have been sealed to look just like real eyes. Her hair is blonde tibetan lambs hair and has a blue holeless bead crown that is non removable. She has a string attached for hanging. The hanger in the picture is not included with this doll. She measures about 6 inches from the top of her head to her indvidually sculpted toes. Her outfit is made of clay and covered in white sparkles to represent frost. She has been blushed in all the right places and was left the color of the clay. Her toe nails have been individually sculpted and sealed to look like real nails. In her left hand she holds a glass ball (a marble) and in her right a frost wand made of clear and dark blue holeless beads. Her wings are removable for shipping and are called Ice Wings. They are made from mixed media and wire and have glass shard sparkles all over them. I highly suggest glueing them in when you receive her in your home. | Aerowyn's Story | |||||||||||||||
| To human eyes Akley forest was a green wooded area with a water spring with lost of plants, mushrooms and trees. To a faery it was anything but that. Each section of the forest was like the inhabitants. The North was wintry with ice and snow. The East was wooded and green. The south was full of flowers and bright and sunny. It looked like summer. The west was dark, damp and dangerous. The previous 3 sections were open to each other for the faeries and animals to roam between. The west however had guards posted and not one fairy was allowed to enter unless they had a message for the royal family or was in exile. Aerowyn was a frost faery. Born into the ice family in the north forest. She was entrusted with making the plants and tees beautiful with ice and snow. Everyday she would fly to a new section of the north forest and would create a new winter wonderland with ice and snow. Always it looked like a snowfall had just happened. She wandered from plant to plant and tree to tree pointing her wand making it beautiful. She always checked her ice crystal as to which areas needed a new winter wonderland. She was about to stop to take a break and notice the one little green plant did not want the snow and ice she had created over everything else. She flew up to it and pointed her wand at it and said her spell. But the little plant shook it off and stayed the dark green color. Aerowyn bent her head down to look at the plant a little closer and realized it was alive as in it was a changeling. �Hello. What are you doing here all by your self?� �I am hiding and you keep dumping snow on me.� �What are you?� �I am a changeling faery.� �Oh I have never met one like you.� �I adapt to any climate and then change back to a faery when I need too. I prefer to be a plant. Everyone leaves me alone.� �I am sorry for dumping snow on you. If you would like to be left alone I will leave now. I am done in this area anyhow.� �It is alright. My name is Amon.� �My name is Aerowyn. I am a frost faery from the ice family. I create the winter wonderlands.� �I see. Well Aerowyn I need to change my spots and I would rather stay as a plant. Would you mind terribly if you could move me to your new area and I can go from there.� �Not a problem Amon. Climb on and we will find a new spot for you.� She held out her arm and Amon climbed on and sat on her shoulder till she moved to the next area. | |||||||||||||||
