| A Dream Come True You've always been a friend, the kind I can't describe. But you could never understand what's happening to me this time. I just can't fight the feeling I have inside for you And just now I realize my dreams are coming true. You lift me up to a brighter place way beyond the pain And when I'm lost you shine a light sending away the rain. You've opened up my eyes, taking me someplace new Now it seems I can't face one day living without you. You're the one thats right for me now untilt he end I wonder if this would have ever happened if I was never your friend. Everyday of my life I look inside your heart Knowing my soul would melt away if we ever part. You tell me everyday I'm the only one you need But still, on the darkets nights, I'm afraid you'll set me free. On the day's I'm down and out you wash away my tears And when I'm scared and lonely you chase away my fears. My troubles seem to never end but you always take them away When I'm with you throughout the night and day. I need you to know, I love you so much Your eyes, your smile, your face, your touch. Time is on our side from tomorrow 'till the end And with each morning's coming, my love to you I send. Now I finally see that my dreams are coming true Because my dream was to be together, forever with you. Written by Melissa Woomer |
| Lucky Charm It was trampled on It was kicked But she wanted it so much So, she picked it up and cherished it It was so small Roundlike in a way She carried it everywhere She was so proud of it She showed everyone And explained to people who couldn't see It was just a trinket That she found on the road But it wa her lucky charm As she grew up she cared less It sat on her shelf for a year She had found a new lucky charm in the meantime So, one day she threw the old one in front of her It smashed into millions of pieces Later she missed her old one She went and picked up all the pieces She put them back together But, it just wasn't the same Now she had two lucky charms One which was old and broken And one which was new She didn't know which to use So, she tottled them around But the old one couldn't take the bumps and jolts anymore So it crumbled right in her hand She didn't know what to do with the pieces So she threw them away She missed her old charm now But she couldn't get it back Soon she forgot it even existed And the charm to this day is broken Until maybe someone lonely Can try to put the pieces back together again. | What to do I want you to know that I love you so much And nothing could ever replace your feeling or touch But something just happened, I finally realized I just can't put up with the torture inside You don't know how to treat me, you need to learn respect To put up the the pain inside, is that what you expect? I just can't tell you all this looking you in the eye Because I can't let you see me break down and cry I'm really going to miss your love, please understand that And if you learn to treat me better, you can always get me back Please don't hate me for doing this, it's only for the best We need to give our relationship a tiny little rest You can date other women, and I can date other men And if you never want me back, promise we'll always be friends You'll always have a huge piece of my heart and no one can take its place And you'll always be in my memories, your touch, your love, your face Just don't ever forget me, because I'll never forget you And if you eve want me back you know just what to do. | Trapped Changing directions all the time Just confused Always confused Do Ilove him or do I love you? All I do is think of him All the good times, even the bad Remembering the qualities that made us one Or remembering the qualities that made us none Nowhere to turn to Blockades are forbidding me to move Recollecting my thoughts Only I can't move back or ahead Memories are filling my mind Lost love is making me cry Empty is how I feel Yelling for someone to unlock me from this trap.
