Hi There, Well here we are. My name is Shelby, and I�m a big fan of the Mummy Movies. I�m not sure exactly what has drawn me to them other than the fact that both are really great movies. Well maybe there is more. I think the chemistry between Brendan and Rachel was a big part of what attracted me. They do so well together, and you really saw that in part two. I also loved the fact that in the middle of all the action and adventure of the first movie there was a little love story going, and by the end you knew both of them were meant to be. Well that would bring me to my writing. I started out doing Alex because he didn�t get much attention, then my stories evolved into Rick and Evie and on occasion Jonathan. There is so much possibility with writing Mummy stories, so much that you never got to see behind the scenes or that you wanted to see. A great deal of my stories as you read them you will find that they have the same theme, and even some of them are the same plot line, but as I write I realize that there was a great evolution in the characters of Rick and Evie. I mean look at it. In the first movie she was sweet Naive wide eyed librarian, a quote from Rachel herself, and in the second one she was no longer that way. She was a tough mum ready to defend her family, and then there was Rick who was tough in the first movie, and by the second one, as he said he was ready to hang up his hat to adventure and be a good father to his kid. There you have a great deal of possibility to write about, and I focus on what events between the movies which changed the two people we so love.
