"TO DO WHAT IS RIGHT, OR WHAT IS STRATEGIC?"
Jamie did an amazing job of avoiding the social game of Survivor for a while. He Flew under the radar and let people bury themselves in the groud like Jesse, and Gabe. Jamie's exit from the game came at the brink of the individual portion where the teams would break a part. A close lose during the immunity challenge left the alliance of Steff, Mike, Adam and Sierra with a tough decision.
Day 17 marked the fifth day in a row that he Cebu tribe had kept away from Tribal Council. Winning the Immunity Challnege that sent Matt home, earned them another three days safe in the game. Mike and Steff sat by the water and talked about the future.
Steff: Today maked a turning point in the game for me. It was stated in the rules that after the sixth person was voted out of the game, everyone would start playing the game for themselves. So, it's crunch time for everyone in Cebu. We have 6 players right now. If we want to go into this second phase of this game with numbers, we have to work together and give it all we got. Still, as always Jamie is doing the least he can around camp which is driving me out of my mind. But when it comes to the challenges, he always seems to pull through when we need it most. These next three days are crucial.
"We've come a long way," Steff stated.
"I know. A few more days and the real game starts," he said.
Mike: See, this is the part I love, playing for myself. Only one person can win this game and I intend on being that person. Right now I'm sitting comfortably with Adam, Sierra, Steff, but I won't be a fool to think that the three of them are keeping their options wide, wide open. This upcoming immunity challnege is so vital it is unbelievable. Steff and I also discussed Jamie and Becca.
'"There is a possibility that we will lose ya know," Mike stated. "Who do u suggest we pull to the merge with us?" he added.
Steff sat there in contemplation.
Steff: Mike was seriously pressuring me to talk to Sierra and Adam about getting rid of Lizzie if we lose this next challenge. Sierra would think I'm crazy because us girls have an agreement. I see his logic. Jamie, although quiet, has worked his ass off in these challenges to get us where we are today even moreso than Adam. Becca will probobly be the reason for our next loss, and lord I hope we don't. I'm torn. I can vote fair, or strategic.
By this point in the game Adam and Sierra definitely have a romance going on, and it is no lie. They spend most of their time together. Is it a game? or real feelings?
Sierra: I really like Adam. Like, I would never consider dating him out here, but maybe when can talk when we get home. As for now I just enjoy his company. And also, it's a great final two alliance. It was awful having to vote off Gabe a couple of days ago. I really liked the kid. He just wasn't playing the game. Dammit. Like, I don't even like Mike all that much, but in a game like this it is not always about what you like, rather than what will get you further.
Day 18 was the next immunity challenge. It was a difficult quiz challenge, and the team with the most correct answers will win immunity. Sabang pulled together and used their noggins, winning their third immunity challenge to date. This left the Cebu tribe sad, knowing Tribal Council was later that evening.
