"THE LONE SHARK"
On day 12, Gabe was harshly voted out of the game. The Cebu tribe was doing really well with tribe unity, but Gabe found it more comfortable to spend his time on his own. Now if you know Survivor you know that this is a fatal mistake in gameplay. After his relatively close friend Jesse was voted out, Gabe was stuck in a rut, not sure what to do within the tribe.
Gabe: It's not that I intentionally don't talk to my tribemates. They all just seem som close, I have a hard time just jumping into conversations with them. I feel like an outsider especially now that Jesse is gone. I spend most of my day writing, and sleeping. I don't see much else to do.
Day 10 Lizzie apporached Gabe because she wanted to know why,out of everyone, he voted for her at the previous tribal council they attended. He admitted to feeling the most distant to her, and from that moment forward, Lizzie had a vendetta against him.
Lizzie: Gabe voted for me last council. It was shocking, and it really rubbed me the wrong way. I really haven't done anything I don't deserve to get a vote from anyone...and to recieve one the first council we attend totally sucks. Gabe is on my shit list now. I don't trust him.
Lizzie now felt threatend. She campaigne around camp, subtly, to the two other ladies, Steff and Seirra.
"He has to go," Lizzie said. 'He doesn't do anything around here." Steff and Sierra simply listened to the poor girl get out her fustrations.
Sierra: I think at this point, our emotions are high, and things around camp are stressful. Lizzie is not making herself look to great wearing her emotions on her sleves for everyone to see. I saw her talk to almost everyone today about her hatred for Gabe. She is defintely giving him a bad reputation for no reason. Because a simple vote? I dont agree with her but I need her in the game right now.
The alliance of Mike, Steff, Seirra and Adam grew stronger by days 7 and 8. Sierra and Steff being the only other girls on the tribe other than Lizzie felt that it was neccessary to include her in some sort of an alliance.
Steff: The alliance of 4 is perfect for now. I just thought it would be smart of Sierra and I to stay close with Lizzie because these males can easily vote us off one by one. So, aside from the 4 person alliance Sierra and I are in, we have a girl power alliance as well.
In the morning of day 11, Jamie fell terribly ill. He was energyless and mopped around camp. Adam, being a personal trainer was worried about his health. Jamie was tall and skinny, losing weight fast.
Adam: Out of everyone here, Jamie is looking like hell. I don't think he expected this game to be so tough. It drains you mentally and stuff, so you have to be strong. He just seems to be here. I dont think his mind is in it though.
At the immunity challenge on day 12 the Sabang tribe marched into the immunity unified without Sarah. In the end the Cebu tribe got their butts kicked as faced a long hike to tribal council where someone would be voted off.
When Cebu got back to camp some scheming began. Mike thought it would be best to get rid off their weakest member.
Mike: We seem to win, and then lose, win, and then lose. I want to continue winning and the only way I see that happening is to get rid of our weakest tribe mate. Jamie doesn't do anything around camp, and you'd think he'd be a physical assest. He's just not. I feel like he wants to go home.
Mike approached Steff to see what she thought about the vote. They discussed with Sierra and Adam as well.
Sierra: We got completely clobbered during this damn challenge. I mean, it was no ones fault mainly, we just didn't work together so yeah. My alliance has some options on who to vote, but personally I can't make up my mind. The one thing I don't like is how my alliance won't even get to know those people who aren't in our click. Gabe is an awesome, funny kid when you get to know him. Jamie is one of the smartest people you could talk to. My alliance is selling itself short.
