Day 1
16 castaways were abandoned in the wilderness of Patagonia to play a game of will, strategy, manipulation, and luck. They were divided into two competing tribes, the Magellan Tribe, and the Rio Negro tribe.
Magellan would always wear purple and consisted of Amia, Megan, Tim, Joel, Adam, Shuri, Eloy, and Sebastian.
Rio would always wear lime green and consisted of Aaron, Ray, Kimber, Joey, Parisa, Travis, Brian and Landon.

The Rio tribe found their campground first. Parisa and Kimber, the only girls on the tribe were definitely the most excited to start the game.
Parisa: We just started this game in Patagonia. It's crazy to be out here palying this crazy game. Survivor is probably nothing I would ever do in my everyday life. It's probably something I would never get the chance to do, so I'm so happy to be playing the game right now. It's going to be an experience that I'll never forget, and I look forward to really beginning to play the game.
Rio immediately began working on shelter, fire, and trying to find the water source. Parisa and Kimber went to gather big leaves for the roof. Ray and Travis began working building the foundation of their shelter, while Landon and Joey were off to find the water source. Both Aaron and Brian were delegated the task of gathering firewood , but the two decided to relax under the shade instead. The hike to camp really wore them down.
Kimber: Brian, I don't know how he expects to get by out here when he doesn't talk to anyone - period. Aaron did talk to me earlier but barely. I don't know which is worse; not being talked too, or being talked to so minimally that it seems phoney. Those two have rubbed me the wrong way so far.
After his catnap, Aaron started to get to know his tribemates, Parisa and Ray who were sitting on the sidelines, tired from building the shelter. Landon and Joey came back with arms brimming with firewood.
Aaron walked over to Joey and started up some conversation.
Aaron: Hey Joey.
Joey: Nice to see you again Aaron, haha.
Aaron: How are you?
Joey: Good, how are you?
Aaron: I've been great, ready for another game?
Joey: Oh yeah, me you and Landon all on the same tribe. Should be fun.
Aaron: I know. I think we need to make a little pact if I say so myself.
Joey: I think so too.
Aaron: But yeah, just a smart idea I believe.
Joey: I think it's smart too.
Aaron: Good then.
Aaron: After seeing Joey and Landon in camp, I was releived a bit. I was talking to Ray and Parisa and I didn't really like them that much. So when I saw those two, and I talked with Joey I felt good. They could be a possbile alliance, which could be a definite, great thing.
Later that day, Landon spoke to the camra during his daily confessional.
Landon: Ok, so I got the chance to feel everyone out but Parisa, Travis and Brian. Anyways right now Joey, Aaron and myself have an alliance. I'm hoping to get one or two more people with us so that if we lose immunity, we will have the numbers. I also like Ray he's pretty cool. I wouldn't mind working with him either as of right now. I'm gonna probably be a big time floater but my goal is to not let my alliance know that, haha.
(Magellan Tribe - Amia, Adam, Eloy, Joel, Megan, Sebastian, Shuri, Tim)
Upon arriving to the camp, Magellan had a rough time making it there so they were beat. Joel was busy trying to keep spirits high. Tim, Amia, and Sebastian were having a rough time keeping up. Shuri tried to make sure the three strugglers were okay. When they got to camp the three of them collapsed in exhaustion.
The sun was setting and for the remainder of the day, Magellan gathered big leaves and piled them on one another to have a comfortable sleeping pad come night time.
Sebastian: So far Shuri and I have bonded the most. She is so funny. Everyone else I havent really talked to very much but I look forward on getting to know them. Hopefully we can work together and win this upcoming immunity challenge.
