Day 9 [New Rio Adam, Eloy, Joel, Joey, Megan, Parisa, Tim] Today the New Rio tribe was heading to Tribal Council where one of them would be the 4th person voted out of Patagonia. Parisa felt extra nervous because now that Joey was exiled, she was on the only original Rio member left around camp. Parisa: Today Ive been stuck with trying to figure out a way to survive. Thats how I feel about it. It's crazy to be out here playing this crazy game, seriously. Ive said it once before and I will say it again and again. I have spoken with Eloy before the challenge and a few times now that we lost. Ive been trying to get him to maybe keep me. He's a nice guy and we have a good time talking. Hopefully Eloy can get people like Joel or Megan to keep me. Honestly I feel like I have done my best to play this game better than Tim has. My angle right now is to play up the fact that Tim is a bad team player. I really do not have any good options left now that Joey is exiled. If he were here, I could have just laid low and put the light one Joey, so I'll have to see how everyone else plays this out later on. Parisa: Hey Eloy. Did you get that chance to speak with him? Eloy: Yeah. Parisa: And whats he saying? Eloy: He doesnt really say anything. He just listened. I think hes undecided. Parisa. Well that doesnt help me any..err. Eloy: Ive been trying to speak with Megan. But shes always busy with stuff. Parisa: What a shame. I feel like Im going. And Tim does nothing. This is the worst this that could ever have happened ever. Eloy: Its not over yet. Ill make a big deal about it to Joel. He will listen hopefully Parisa. Dont give up yet. Parisa: Im trying not too. Well see how it goes I guess. Joel: Right now my heart is saying old Magellan loyalty, but the smart thing to do is to go with someone who is strong for the tribe that would be Parisa. Tim is floating through this game and loves my coat tails. Ill be debating between the two of them all day. Later that day the tribe packed up and started the hike to Tribal Council. [Tribal Council #4- New Rio Tribe] Sandros: Hey New Rio, or shall I say... Old Magellan, welcome to Tribal Council. I told Rio this over and over; you guys do not want to be here! But they didn't listen to me. Now you guys and gals who consist of New Rio haven't gotten thee swing of things since the tribe shuffle. Now you have to vote someone off. I'll start off with a few questions. Eloy Ill start with you. What was your initial reaction when you read the thread of the tribe shuffle? Eloy: I was shocked at first because I felt if there were more numbers of the original Rio tribe, I could get voted out. But then again, the original Magellan tribe never really spoke to me. It was hard to have a conversation with them, with the exception of Shuri and Meghan. Also, was there any scrambling among anyone? Well Joey and Parisa were definitely outnumbered and I knew how they felt coming into the new Rio tribe. But I could sympathize with them because I didnt' have such a good click with my old Magellan tribe members. Sandros: Joel, was there any unity among the New Rio tribe this past challenge? Explain to me why you lost. Joel: Well, I think we had unity during the immunity challenge. Meghan, Eloy, Adam, and myself were all working on the immunity challenge from the moment it came out. Later on Parisa and Joey both came to help work on it, but I think at that point it was too late. We lost in my opinion, because no one who was working on the challenge, really could step up and say; "Hey I am good at this kind of stuff." We were all hurting during it, and we choose to over-analyze everything, when maybe we should have took a few more guesses, and hoped for the best. Sandros: Adam, give me a sense of the vote tonight? Without telling me whom you are voting, why is the person leaving tonight being voted out, briefly? Adam: Well I am voting for the person that I have had no contact, conversation, or basically anything with. Its the right decision, and Im pretty sure everyone else will be voting the same, or along those lines if they haven't spoken to someone else. We have people who interact with people and do the IC's and then we have people outside of out cohesive unit. Sandros: Tim, alright, I need to know what its like on a tribe that has 5 out of 7 Magellan members, and only 2 Rio members? Do old tribe lines run deep here, or not? Tim: I really go with who is annoying me really. No sense in hiding it. I dig some people, so people I dig less. My vote is for the person who just doesnt fit in in my eyes. If that be tribal lines or not I dont know, but I know it has to do with meshing and who you dig. Sandros: Megan, how does it feel to actually have another speaking girl on your tribe? Have you spoken to Parisa yet? Also, do you feel threatened by the obvious disadvantage of females when it comes to numbers? Megan: Parisa seems like a sweet girl from what I know of her. I dont think this is a boy/girl thing. Its all about who you like and based on individuals. I dont see it like that; I dont need Parisa in an alliance cuz there is no boy girl divides here at all. None I know bout. Sandros: Parisa, following up with the last question, do you feel vulnerable tonight being the only old Rio tribe mate left here? How did it feel when the shuffle occurred, having so many old Magellan members come to camp? Parisa: Honestly it was terrible having most of there people come over to the Rio tribe. It was incredibly harmful to my strategy. Basically all my friends that I made the first few days are gone, and that stuff means a lot out here. I dont like half the people here and whatever they say is basically and lies because I know theyre aligned and I know Im the next to go. That all sucks because I wanted to play and now smelly Magellans are taking over the Rio tribe. I really hope maybe I could have turned things around, but that is all contingent. Sandros: Well a lot of things were said tonight. Hopefully this vote can clear up a few things. Once the votes are read the decision is final, the person voted out will be asked to leave the tribal council area Immediately, I'll read the votes. FIRST VOTE: PARISA SECOND VOTE TIM THIRD VOTE PARISA FOURTH VOTE: PARISA. Thats 1 votes for Tim. 3 votes for Parisa. FIFTH VOTE PARISA! Sandros: Thats 4 votes, that is enough Parisa. You need to bring me your torch. After 9 days Parisa, 3 hard immunity loses, 3 straight tribal councils, one immunity shuffle, I'm sorry to say, the TRIBE HAS SPOKEN! By a vote of 4-2. Sandros: As for the rest of Rio, Joel, Tim, Megan, Eloy, and Adam - yous can head back to camp where you will reunite with Joey. From the questions before the vote, you were voting based on old tribal lines, and whom you know. Take a look around...Joey isn't here. Clearly, one of you is next if you lose, depending on if Joey goes to Exile. Since Magellan chooses who goes to exile again if they win, they all know Joey from old Rio, it's almost certain they would chose him again. This next immunity challenge is crucial. I wonder if getting rid of Parisa did the trick to get this tribe a win. If not I will be seeing one of you up here with your torch very soon. You can head back to camp. [Parisas Final Words] I couldnt change my fate in this game when that twist happened. Im just unlucky in this instance, dang. Some people always get screwed in the first twist and Im so upset that its me. I came into this game wanting to play with my all and it hurts to know that Im leaving now, with other people in the game that dont want to play, or dont care as much as me. Oh, Ill get over it, but it just hurts me. I wish Eloy the best of luck on Rio. As for Kimber, Landon, Joey, Ray and Travis you guys take it all the way. I wish I could be there with you but these scum had to take me out early because Im beautiful and a rock star, haha. So you guys need to wipe the floor with them! Good luck! [Tims Reason] Reason: Because shes the only Rio person on the Rio tribe, ha. This is the simplest vote in Survivor history. [Megans Reason] Parisa Im voting for you. The guys want you out. I wish it could be different, but I cant go against the numbers of the tribe. This is the way it just has to be. Again this hurts to do, bye. [Eloys Reason] I just don't like you dude. You and I have never really gotten along. Sorry. [Joels Reason] Out of everyone on this new tribe, you are the only one that I havent known since day one. You can blame this vote on old lines sticking together if you will, because that is a good majority of it too. Sorry you had to go this way. [Adams Reason] My vote is for Parisa because like I said with my question, I have nothing in coming with you and its dumb if I were to keep you when you basically to help me out with nothing. Plus youre part of Rio and we want the advantage, So duh. Sorry! [Parisas Reason] Im going with hope on this vote. Nothing really too personal Tim Im just trying to survive here. Take care hun.
