At 9 a.m. this morning, Mission Control lost contact with Ciggs Rottens� WorldPlay account. A short time later, a fatal error message was seen on our monitor. The Account is lost; there are no survivors.
Although the odds were always stacked against him, Ciggs was conducting online operations to educate the less fortunate who frequent an online Axis of Evil � Worldplay Backgammon, Worldplay Cribbage and Worldplay Chess.
As our immense loss looks like a deliberate and ghastly act of sabotage, those of us who thrive on intellectual and fulfilling online conversation will stand together shoulder to shoulder to win the �war against retards�.
To those who planned and funded this hideous crime I say this:
Despite the sadness, the faithful shall remain steadfast. Darkness shall be defeated. Clouds carrying no useful rain shall clear. And the sun shall shine ushering in an endless spring, blessed by God...
