Basically, this series is about ninjas. The main character is Naruto which the anime is named after. Don't let it fool you though. Each other character gets there own episode here and there. The great thing about the anime is that every character has a back story. Like Naruto (First pic, on the right), he has the soul of a monster sealed inside of him. Sasuke (Middle pic right) is someone who wants to get revenge for something.
The series is slow paced sometimes like how battles can last a whopping 5 episodes. This series has everything one otaku could ever want. There's action, funny stuff, serious stuff, and slight fanservice. The music is great as well. A mix of modern music with added umm... asian instruments to it. It's really creative music.
This series , i believe, is digitally animated. Which to me is a bad thing. I can't stand all the effects they put into it. Like the flashback parts aren't just black and white scenes but these scenes are covered with tiny gray circles.
Naruto is very faithful to the manga. It's a perfect adaptation with some minor tweaks.
I highly recommend this series. Starting from the first episode, you'll be hooked. I first found out about this series off of kazaa. I was downloading songs from the series "Haibane Renmei" and a naruto bgm popped up so i downloaded it. I thought the music was good so I checked out the series. And voila!
