My  Review
If you ever want to watch a credible film that will leave you gasping for more thatn you should buy or rent out Chinatown.  Chinatown is a marvellous film that never lets you down with holes in a script. The Script is in fact note perfect and the story line is probably the best ever written.

Nicholson plays the Gittes with such a smooth prtrayal you actually forget that Nicholson is actually acting. This film of course came before
One flew over the cuckoo's nest but at this time Nicholson was a major player in Hollywood.

Nicholson has the great  sense to work for directors who are very talented at there skill and his sixth sense for working with such directors is eveident in the film. Polanski really does get what he wants in this film.
